Arthur (Art) Brouillard Jr. of Mesa, Arizona passed away at home, peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, July 4, 2020 from complications of Parkinson’s – MSA. He was 66 years old. Art was born in Cranston, Rhode Island to Arthur and Margaret Brouillard. Art is preceded in death by his parents and baby sister Doreen. Art was an Air Force Veteran and retired as a Production Control Representative in 2018. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Bea; daughter Lynda and grandchildren Dylan, Lacey and Ricky who were the light of his life. He was big brother to Donna Spencer (New Hampshire), Douglas Brouillard (Rhode Island), Cheryl Nelson (Rhode Island), and Allan Brouillard (North Carolina). Art also leaves behind many extended family members in Rhode Island, Florida, and North Carolina who loved him dearly. Art was a loyal friend to many. Art had a deep faith in God and was an active participant and leader for many years in a variety of ministries at All Saints Catholic Church in Mesa, as well as the Diocese of Phoenix Cursillo Movement… De Colores!
In 2010 after the devasting earthquake in Haiti, Art and several parishioners from All Saints started a non-profit to help the poorest of the poor in Haiti. This work lasted for almost 10 years sustained by amazing team members and generous donations from around the country. With a heavy heart Art’s health made it difficult to continue these efforts.
Art will be remembered for his faith… but most importantly his love of family and friends.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 10:00am at All Saints Catholic Church on 1534 N. Recker Rd, Mesa, AZ 85205. Interment will immediately follow the Mass at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care 400 S Power Rd. Mesa, AZ 85206
