This lead to him and his teammates being inducted into the Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame in 2017.
Gordon married his first wife Barbara (Dunn) in 1969. Together they had 3 children. They parted ways in 1989.
Gordon worked in various industries until he joined Investors Group in 1980. He was always brilliant with numbers and thoroughly enjoying working with people so this was a great fit. Gordon worked with IG for 40 years - until 2020.
In 2002, Gordon met his wife Kathleen (Wiggins Thompson). He also inherited 3 step children. Gordon and Kathleen enjoyed travelling and golfing together. But especially enjoyed their combined family of 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
