Sandra Louise Amos

Sandra Louise (Binion) Amos, age 61, of Elk Rapids, passed away on July 14, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1958 in Morgantown, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Butler County High School in 1977 and earned an RN diploma in 1990. Sandra was an accomplished nurse and dedicated over thirty years to pursuing excellence in her field and patient care. This passion fueled her to complete a BSN program at Michigan State University in 2005. She was immensely proud of this accomplishment and was a diehard Spartan fan!

She is survived by her two children: Zach Amos, of Elk Rapids; and Karson (Jacqui) Amos, of Holland. Countless others lit up her life, offering exceptional friendship and care. She shared her interests of basketball, MSU athletics, cooking, and boating with her friends and family.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at Covell Funeral Home in Elk Rapids on Friday, July 31 from 5:00 – 7:30pm.
