Bill married his wife Lois on April 25, 1957. They raised five children; Shelly, David, Patrick, William and Michael. Bill was active and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and wood working, as well as, playing guitar and banjo. He also loved Western movies, especially The Outlaw Josie Wales and the Lonesome Dove epic series.
Bill was a faithful member of Our Savior Lutheran Church where he served as an elder on several occasions. He also attended ORG (Old Retired Guys) meetings every Friday, at different places, where they drank coffee and talked about their families and church. Bill was active in the South Grand Prairie Quarterback club for decades, often serving as President and organizing activities, and the South Grand Prairie Chain Gang.
He was very involved with his children's activities, always making sure to make it home from work in time to attend football practice, musical shows, or anything else they had going on, and never missed one.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Hunt, and his parents, Jesse and Earline.
He is survived by his children; daughter, Shelly, sons, David (Cindy), Patrick (Kat), William (Sang), and Michael (Erin); grandchildren, Jonathan, Melissa, Jennifer, Branden, Olivia, Stephanie, Jerah and Ayden; great grandchildren, Lauren, Lila, Gabriel and Collin; and one sister, Sena.
