David is predeceased by his father David Carrillo Sr. and his brothers: Ruben Carrillo I and Ruben Carrillo.
David is survived by his mother Paula Carrillo and sisters: Lydia Walker, Elida Arredondo, Carmen Carrillo, Mary Louisa Guerra, Cynthia Stover and Herlinda del Valle.
David was a member of Macedonia Church. He attended with his parents. He gained his love for music at church. It was here that he learned to sing and play musical instruments. In high school he was in the marching band and played the Tenor Saxophone. He then played the saxophone for church services. David sat proudly at his church and played the piano and sang to his favorite music.
David Carrillo was a loyal servant of God his entire life. He was an amazing son. His whole life was dedicated to his parents. He was a loving and caring brother and uncle.
David worked at several jobs, Gray Tool, Hobby Airport Limousine, Texas Bus Lines, and Pasadena ISD Transportation Department, which is where he was able to retire after working there for 30 years.
David was an amazing man. He was joyful, strong and honorable. He had a great smile and a unique laugh. He was loved by many and we will all miss him dearly.
His funeral services will be on Monday, July 27, 2020 @ Forest Lawn Cemetery.
It will also be streamed live. Family that would like to attend will be asked to stand by their vehicles.
