Jennie moved to Centobuchi, Italy in 1932 where she lived until 1947 with her mother and three siblings while her father remained in Cleveland working to support them. When she returned to the U.S. after WWII she met Anthony and they married in 1949. Together they had three children. She was a devoted mother, homemaker and wonderful cook, especially Italian food. Upon her retirement from the Cleveland School Board’s Central Kitchens, Jennie embarked on a well-deserved retirement filled with golf, bowling, bocce, and shopping. She and Anthony were active members of Italian Sons & Daughters of America, University Lodge and she enjoyed going to all their “doings”. However, her greatest love throughout her life was her own family and her dear mother and siblings, Emma, Ada, and Edwin.
Jennie is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Anthony and loving children Diane Pisanelli (Fred), Lydia Walsh (Jimmy), and Ted. She also leaves behind her grandson, Collin Kraft and many nieces and nephews. Due to COVID there will be no visitation or funeral services. A private family Graveside Service and Entombment will be held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
