You are in my thoughts and prayers as you temporarily say good bye  to Dave.  I worked with him in Collections at ISU for several years.  He was a joy to work with.  He wore a smile and was a good guy.  Thank you for sharing photos of a life well lived and a family full of love and caring.  They are good memories that will help; cling to all those good memories. Have known the Ambrose family for over 50 years. Worked with David at west side lumber in the late 60’s back when he was 16. He loved to drive my 56 chevi but always insisted on changing my channel settings. Ha. 
Also worked with his dad and was in a couple organizations with his mom. 
It’s an awesome family. David RIP. You’ll be missed. Luv u

I knew David a very long time ago, junior high and high school.  I remember David as being one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.  He always had that mega watt smile and always a “hi how ya doin.”  My deepest condolences to the family as David was a really good one.  I pray you find peace and comfort as the days turn into weeks and the weeks turn into a year and beyond.  RIP David...you were a good guy.

I enjoyed my time with Dave in the Jaycees in the 1970s-80s. He was so full of energy and self-service to that group for all we tried to do for the community.  May he now rest in peace eternally.

I met Dave when he started at ISU. Dave worked in a different department than I did but our departments were all part of the same division. Dave always had time to assist you with anything you needed and he was extremely talented in anything he did. My husband and I delivered squirrel corn to him for his squirrels and I did to our work place for his squirrels. My husband and I met Judi and got to know her through the squirrel corn deliveries. Dave was an amazing man and person to everyone and anything. Dave love everybody and the animals.  I lost contact with Dave and Judi when they moved to AZ but tried to find out about their life through my office when I would visit or talk to the office staff. I will miss Dave he was a shinning star and his loss is immense. May god bless you dave now in heaven and maybe you and my husband have met up and have reconnected. My condolences to your family and lovely wife Judi and dave Rest In Peace. Dave you won't be forgotten. 

Only meet Dave and Judy 2 yrs.ago when moved to Arizona ... welcomed to their home and pool...felt like always knew them since an Illinois gal and Cub fan....brought him a tiny get well balloon and Judy told me he always had it with him... Rest In Peace friend.. no more pain 💕


I worked with Dave for a few years at ISU.  He also help me fix things on my house in Lexington Il.  He was a talented guy who could do most anything.  I'm glad I got to know him.  He'll be missed.


Dave will be missed so much.  He always had a smile and the first to help if someone needed it. When I moved to San Tan Valley he was always  there along with Judi.  

I will never ever forget the love that you showered on my Tyler and me when Tyler was a little boy and he would come for daycare , he absolutely adored you and couldn't wait to see you .  From the Santa visits , to the parties , to the hay bales and pony rides.  You are an amazing man 

I knew Dave pretty much all my life. He was a friendly outgoing guy and we had some good times together. I first walked to his house after school in 2nd grade and got lost going home! All I had to do was walk West on Empire St. to Lee St. and turn right, but I was just a kid with no sense of direction. Chuck and Dave and I would play monopoly sometimes on Saturdays. Before the pandemic, we were planning to get together, because San Tan is just about 45 minutes south of Phoenix, but I'm glad I was able to text with and talk to him from time to time over the last year and also on Facebook. Dave will be missed! My condolences to all of you.
