Linda was born February 15, 1943 and raised in Meridian, Mississippi. Her parents were John and Audie Glicco and she had a younger brother, Mickey who was born in 1945. After leaving home, she moved to South Florida. She became a mom in 1968 to Lisa and then a single parent in 1970 when she started a 30 year career with Dade (Baxter) International before they closed their Miami location. In 1982, she had her son, Dominic, and continued to raise both her children independently, becoming both their mom and dad. She gave them an unconventional childhood, but always full of love. She followed her daughter and her husband, Mark, and her 3 grandchildren to Katy, Texas in 2004. She worked at Home Depot for 15 years, and she never stopped working. She liked the camaraderie of her coworkers as well as her loyal customers. She was strong, independent and full of life. She was a seamstress who made her children's clothes and even her daughter's prom and wedding dresses. She was an abstract painter, played the piano and loved gardening. Later in life, she loved to crochet, from blankets to hats and scarves and she loved to gift people her creations. She loved her dogs (sometimes more than people). She loved to dance and loved her Bloody Mary's and Wild Turkey 101. She believed that something as small as a smile can make someone's day, and therefore she always had a smile on her face.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa and her husband Mark Bechtold and son Dominic Durrance and wife Katrina and her six grandchildren, Steven, Hans Artemas, Cynthia, Lileana, Jaden, Jaxson and one great grandchild, Chloe Lynn.
