Rodolfo Macias, 85, a long resident of Baytown, passed from this life into eternal life on July 28, 2020. He was born in Mexico on April 13, 1935, the son of Bacilio and Tranquilina Macias. He was married to Ofelia Macias for 65 years.
Rodolfo worked as a laborer in the oil and gas industry for many years. He was a spiritual man and an active member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Baytown. He had a passion for fishing and lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved very much. He also enjoyed his favorite dish of fried fish and onion rings at his favorite restaurant, Pipeline Grill. Rodolfo was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather that enjoyed cooking for everyone, always making sure you left his home with a full stomach. He also enjoyed traveling and often visited his hometown in Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Francisco Macias, 4 brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Ofelia, his son, Jorge Macias and his wife, daughter Marta Alicia and her husband, son, Rodolfo Macias, Jr., son, Juan Macias and his wife, son Jose Macias and his wife, along with 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
