On Thursday, July 30, 2020, Rosa Lee “Ninnie” Coke, of Oak Vale, Mississippi, passed from this life at the age of 73. She was born in Prentiss, Mississippi to Odell and Dorothy Cochran, was a longtime resident of the Society Hill Community, and a member of Society Hill Baptist Church. Rosa Lee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who was devoted to her family. She will be remembered as a dedicated Christian who actively served her Lord through her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kathryn Diane Ott; and her husband, Stonewall Jackson “Jack” Coke, Jr. Rosa Lee is survived by her daughter, Kelly Coke and her fiancé, Tim Bridges; her son, Kevin Coke and his wife, Marissa; brother-in-law, Dennis Ott; four grandchildren, Kaela Odendaal, Don Odendaal, Sy Odendaal, and Malachi Coke; a niece, Tabby Carlsen and her husband, Chad; two nephews, Bobby Ott and his wife, Ginger and Corey Ott and his wife, Maggie. There will be a funeral service, officiated by Reverend Tommy Broome, for Rosa Lee at 10:00am on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Society Hill Baptist Church where friends may visit from 9:30 until service time. Burial will follow in Society Hill Cemetery assisted by Don Odendaal, Sy Odendall, Malachi Coke, Chad Carlsen, Damon Roberts, Brad Langston, and Tommy Lovino assisting as pallbearers.
