Cleveland A. Deadmon, Jr. was born May 5, 1946, to Cleveland A. Deadmon Sr and Dorothy Daniels Deadmon. He departed this life for his heavenly home on Sunday, August 16, 2020.
Cleveland attended school in Wrightsville and Sweet Home High School.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Longley Baptist Church, and later rededicated his life to Christ at Rocky Mountain Baptist Church. There, he served as a Deacon and he was a member of the Men’s Choir and the Mass Choir. He remained a faithful member until his health failed.
Cleveland enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends. He had a happy disposition and always had very comical stories to share with everyone around him.
During his life, Cleveland worked for many years in the packing departments of Brown’s Meat Company and Krews Meat Packing Company. In his later years he worked at All Security Company until his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland A. Deadmon, Sr. and his brother Larry Deadmon.
Cleveland leaves to cherish his memories, that will last forever in their hearts; his mother, Dorothy Deadmon; his loving wife and confidant, Nina Deadmon;, his children, Sharon Deadmon and Raymond Deadmon, both of Little Rock, AR, Tangie (Guy) Thompson, of El Paso, TX, Angela (Tony) Harrell, of San Diego, CA, Willie Carter, Jr and Keith Carter, both of Los Angeles, CA. He leaves 3 brothers; Robert, Carl, and Michael (Carolyn) Deadmon, all of Little Rock, AR. Cleveland leaves one uncle, Walter Kendrick, and one Sister-in-law, Lilly Deadmon. He was the loving grandfather of 9 as well as the great grandfather of 12, all of whom he adored.
Cleveland also leaves a dedicated niece/caregiver; Alicia Deadmon, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.
