Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Clytee Flurry Fox, 89, will be Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Russell Hestley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
Mrs Fox died Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Ilene Flurry, husband, Gordon R. Fox, and brother and sister-in-law, Charlie & Sue Flurry.
Clytee was sweet, kind and gracious. She loved everyone and everyone that new her loved her too. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who adored her children and grandchildren. She would say "They are my heart." Clytee included her brother;s children in that count. She loved them like her own. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three children, John Richard (Tina) Fox, Mark Daryl (Danette) Fox, Melissa Fox (Tommy) Goggins; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren;
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be David Flurry, Bob Flurry, Dan Isom, Jim Booth, Tab Goggins and Steve Payton.
