She was born May 6, 1952 in Macomb, IL to William and Beverly (James) Beckner. She married Larry Kem on Nov. 20, 1971 in Washington, IL. He passed away March 19, 2018 in East Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Janet Kem of Pekin, one son, William Kem of Pekin, and one sister, Diana Hasty Osborn of Eureka.
Loretta worked for Parkside Athletics in Pekin retiring in 2014.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Loretta’s life will be Saturday, Sep. 5, 2020 at 3 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
