Victoria Aoay Estoque, 74, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2020 due to a long battle with dementia. She was born July 7, 1946 in Agoo City, La Union, Philippines. She is the daughter of the late Francisco and Crispina Estoque. Victoria, aka Vicky, is survived by her two sisters, Lucing and Ligaya; daughter Elizabeth and her partner Rob, son Neil and his partner Zarah, son Andrew and his wife Amanda; and her 6 grandchildren, Nia, Jacob, David, Rafael, Arya, and Amaya.
Vicky worked for Diamond Foods in Stockton, CA for 10 years in the Quality Control Department. Then, she was employed by Globe Aviation Services as a security officer at the Norman Mineta Airport in San Jose, CA for one year. Her last employment was being a caregiver at several home care facilities. She then went into early retirement and was cared for alternately by her son Neil and her daughter Elizabeth until she was called to heaven.
Vicky was a dedicated mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She loved her music, her Elvis, singing, and dancing. Even throughout her dementia journey, she could still recall all the lyrics of her favorite songs. Some favorites were "No Money, No Honey," "Unforgettable," and "Love Me Tender." She also enjoyed the outdoors and going on nature hikes all over Arizona. Throughout her life, Vicky also loved cooking, gardening, riding the city buses, and doing arts & crafts.
Vicky will immensely be missed by all of her loved ones and friends. Although she left us, heaven has gained another beautiful angel. She touched everyone with her happy attitude and sweet smile. May she rest in paradise and continue singing and dancing eternally in heaven.
