Michelle was the daughter of the late Daniel & Agnes Kehr, sister-in-law of the late Capt. Thomas P. Earley & sister-in-law of the late Roseanne Godwin Kehr.
She is survived by her loving sisters, Lynda Earley and Gary Reedell of Ewing, NJ, her sister Debe Kehr of Columbia, SC & a brother Daniel Kehr, Jr of Pine Beach, NJ.
Michelle was a beloved Aunt of Danielle Oswald and her husband David, Patrick Earley & his wife Angela, Betsy and her husband Craig Soltis, BJ Lindenberger, Jade Kehr and Jamie Kehr, Katie Reedell, Kevin & Dan Reedell and the adored great-aunt of Dean, Matthew & Tommy.
Michelle was a kind, beautiful, warm-hearted person who would go above and beyond for anyone and everyone she knew. Even while she struggled with her own addiction she still would light up a room with her presence and sense of humor. She loved her family very deeply and took care of many children throughout her life. Even though she had no children of her own, she helped to mold many young lives in a very positive way. Michelle believed in second, third, even fourth chances for others. Very recently, Michelle finally was beginning to have signs of hope for her own future and making plans for the first time in a long time and we were so very happy to see that. Our family and the world lost the gift of her presence way too soon. Addiction does not discriminate and it will grab hold and destroy anyone in its path. Addiction hides in the faces of everyday people all around us. As her oldest niece, I will remember my “Abba” with great fondness and be grateful my kids had the chance to have the love of “Sugar” for the formative years of their lives. To honor Michelle, we ask that think twice before you judge an addict. For we don’t know how someone is struggling. Michelle, we miss you and love you very much!
