Edna Mae Luttrell Kansas City, Kansas passed away on September 1, 2020. She was 67 years old. A “drive-up” style visitation will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Come, offer your condolences to Edna’s family, and pay final respects to Edna while following social distancing guidelines from the safety of your vehicle. A private family service will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 in the morning. Following the funeral service, you are welcome to join us for the graveside service starting at approximately 11:00 am at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112. Please abide by the social distancing guidelines and wear facial covering.
Edna was born on September 17, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas to Earl E. and Ella Louise (Avis) Potter. Edna completed the 11th grade before entering the work force. She worked at the Rose Room in Bonner Springs for five years, and 10 years at the Pool Hall in Platte, Missouri. A majority of her working career was the 20 plus years she spent as a housekeeper at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. However, her greatest job title was mother to four beautiful children that she blessed her husband, Donald Luttrell with. She was then promoted to grandma and then great-grandma. Edna was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Earl E. Potter and Ella Louise (Avis) Potter; sister, Elizabeth (Bess) Frank; brothers, James (Buddy) Potter, Claude Potter, Earl (Chipper) Potter, and Charles (Charlie) Potter.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Donald R. Luttrell of Kansas City, Kansas; children, Rebecca Jurado of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Jennifer Byers and her husband Chris of Lees Summit, Missouri, Donald R. Luttrell, Jr. and his wife Jamie of Basehor, Kansas, and Michelle Cuc-Guarcas and her husband Gilmer of Liberty, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends.
