Roberto was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala on October 27, 1952. He is predeceased by his mother Basilia Fajardo and survived by the love of his life of 32 years, Vilma Alejandra Fajardo. He will be lovingly remembered by his 6 adult children, their spouses and 11 grandchildren.
Roberto worked at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco CA for 40 years. He started as a dishwasher, worked his way up to a busboy and finished his career as a banquet waiter. After his retirement in 2016 he relocated to Oklahoma along with his wife Vilma and two younger daughters to join his two older sons and their families.
He was a well known customer at Jimmy’s Egg in Edmond where he enjoyed eating breakfast almost everyday. He loved spending time with family and wouldn’t leave without first having his “cafecito y pan”. He was a friendly man who always had a warm smile and would wave hello to everyone. He loved telling jokes, and was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed. He was a big sports fan who loved the 49ers, SF Giants, GS Warriors, and cheered for his ultimate favorite soccer team Barcelona. He was an avid chess player who enjoyed playing it everyday. However the most important thing to him was to glorify God by serving selflessly at his home church Life Church.
Roberto was a loving, gentle, kind, and caring man of God who will deeply be missed by many.
