Ashton entered this life July 27, 1998 to Robert Manser and Sara Harmon-Manser. From the beginning, Ashton was a light that shown bright to everyone that he encountered. He did not know a stranger. Growing up, Ashton was active in many things. He especially loved participating in Boy Scouts, coming very close to becoming an Eagle Scout. He also enjoyed playing sports, mostly baseball and football. What Ashton enjoyed most was teasing his little sister Sadi, he never did tire of that, even as they got older. Ashton also had room in his heart for his many friends. Caring very deeply for them, always there in a moment’s notice when any of them found themselves surrounded by difficulty. Ashton left an impact wherever he was, whether it was in Kansas City, or Georgia. He often said that he would go back to Georgia to live at some point in his life. The loss Ashton’s family and friends feel at this point is vast. He will forever be remembered for that smile on his face that could light up a room.
Ashton is survived by his father, Robert Manser, Kansas City, MO, his mother, Sara Manser and sister, Sadi Manser, both of Lousiville, KY; paternal grandmother, Georgeanna Manser, Lee’s Summt, MO, and maternal grandparents Jim and Lois Harmon, Kearney, MO. Ashton is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Doug Manser.
