Alinda Pete-Angerville, 53, was born on September 18, 1966 and passed away at her home on September 4, 2020. Her parents were the late Samuel Pete (originally from PA) and Anne L. Darby-Pete (originally from SC) of Brooklyn, New York, and father, Roy Lee Garrison Sr. of New Jersey (originally from Chicago, IL).
She was predeceased by her son, Dante V. Angerville.
She is survived by a brother, Roy L. Garrison, Jr. (Kytona) and sister, Tera L. Akpan (Nsini). Alinda leaves behind family and friends who truly appreciated her artistic individuality and her knowledge on just about anything you would talk to her about.
Alinda was very intelligent and was a Freelance Web Designer. She recently decided to enroll back in school to finish out her 30 credits to attain her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at the Claflin University, Orangeburg, SC.
Alinda was a member of the Elevation Church where she served faithfully along with her church family who will truly miss her.
Alinda leaves behind her two Girl Rough Collie's, Morgan and Shuri whom she loved dearly. The Collie's will be going to a good home with her dear friend, Nancy McDonald. She was also involved in several Collie Foundations. Alinda was voted in as a “Corporator” of the National Collie Foundation; she was the highest level volunteer. She had created some beautiful videos for the Collie Club of America’s National Show – 2020 version - it is for the top 20 Collies in the US. Her contribution elevated the event to such a professional level.
Alinda dedicated herself to her dear late son, Dante Angerville and she will be laid to rest alongside with him at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Linden, NJ.
Graveside Service will be held at Rosehill Cemetery and Crematory, 792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036 on October 15, 2020 at 12 p.m. Family and close friends are welcome to attend.
