It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Anne Elizabeth Chicago Boucher on Sunday, September 13, 2020. With her family at her bedside, she continued on to her next journey peacefully and gently.
Annie was born in Lac Des Mille Lacs First Nation 22A1 on July 1, 1936. She was predeceased by both parents, several brothers, a sister, and her first born son Phillip Edward Boucher who passed away last year.
She is fondly remembered by her sisters Evelyn (Gary) and Marlene (Dean), her children Marilyn (Clarence), Marvin (Gen), Gerry (Angela), Kelvin, Melvina (Art) and Larry (Bev). Annie also leaves to mourn many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Annie enjoyed playing bingo, walks around town and blueberry picking. She enjoyed talking to the many visitors who stopped by her little apartment and provided them with food that was always on the stove. Annie also played an important role in helping to raise her grandchildren whether it was for short stays or long ones. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 9:00 am with Funeral services to follow on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Jubilee Church beginning at 10:00 am.
