Born in Newark to Elaine and Frank Casale, Frank made a career for himself in Education.
He earned a degree in Sports Administration from St. John’s University in New York before attending Graduate School at Rutgers University in Newark earning Masters Degrees in English Literature, History, and Philosophy. Frank furthered his education by earning his Doctorate in English Literature from CUNY in New York.
Frank was an English Professor at Morgan State University, Nova University, and most recently Elite Prep School in Somerset.
He was a poker enthusiast who authored many books and articles on the game and appeared as an extra in the movie “The Joker” and on TV in “The Deuce”.
Frank was the devoted son of Elaine (nee Donnelly) and the late Frank A. Casale, loving brother of Anthony Casale and his wife Barbara Ann, and cherished uncle of Anthony, Justina, and Jordyn. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved pets Darth Vader and Caesar.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 10 am in Sacred Heart Church, 76 Broad Street in Bloomfield.
