Domenica was born in 1927 in Pozza, Italy. She immigrated to Canada when she was 25 years old with the hopes of giving her family a better life. Over the years, Domenica worked many jobs, but her favorite years were those spent working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where she often went out of her way to help care for the elderly. Domenica was a caring, intelligent and hard-working woman. She devoted her entire life to doing what was best for her family. She was a selfless mother, wonderful grandmother and the most loving great-grandmother. We are so proud of the woman she was and are thankful for the love and sacrifices that she has made for all of us over the years. We will forever be grateful for having had her in our lives. She will be greatly missed.
Domenica joins her husband Vincenzo and her son Gabriel in heaven. She is survived by her son Peter (Carole), her grand-children Keri (Peter), Amanda (Mariano), Vince, Dean, Cassandra and her great-grandchildren Savannah, Brady, Taylor, Christian, Luca and Matteo, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her sister in law Felicia Colati and to many family and friends for their thoughtfulness and support over the past years.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (5610, Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal).
A service at Saint-Raymond Parish (5765, Saint-Jacques, Montreal) will take place on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11 a.m.
