Wanda Dean Fields, age 92, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020, at her home in Roseville, MI. Wanda was born May 7, 1928 in Fulton, Kentucky, to John & Edna (Edwards) Childers. She married Harold Lee Fields, on January, 28, 1950, in Mississippi, he passed June of 1988.
Wanda is survived by her children; Terrance (the late Judy), Carlos & Brenda Fields, grandchildren; Clayton (Barbara), Laura (Scott), Angela (Bryan), Maria (Tim) and great grandchildren; Alaina, Clayton, Isabella, Oliver, Brycen, Austin, Penelope & Dexter. She was pre deceased by her husband Harold, son Ricky Fields and her parents.
Wanda loved the lord, her faith was contagious and strong. Her laugh and smile were infectious and lite up the whole room. Her family and friends meant the world to her, she cherished everyone, she loved to sing to her grandchildren "You are my Sunshine" and loved hugs and kisses. She was a true Southern Belle, She loved to talk and still carried her southern accent with her. Wanda was a homemaker and worked at the bowling alley in her younger years.
Wanda loved to travel, she enjoyed different Casinos across the country, and local Casinos with her family & friends, and she was the Bingo Queen. She was an animal lover, her Yorkie and Kitty's were her babies, her favorite color was yellow, and she also enjoyed Soap Operas, Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and watching Heartland with her daughter Brenda. She loved taking pictures and cherished them, she collected Beanie Babies, Barbies, Bingo Dabbers, all things that made her happy. Wanda was involved in many groups and organizations, a proud member of the VFW.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 3-8PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville, Michigan 48066. A Committal Service and Burial will be Monday, October 12, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, 38425 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48038.
