BRADLEY--Mark Cogswell, 61 passed away unexpectedly at his residence on September 26, 2020. He was born June 6, 1959 in Belfast a son of James Cogswell and Lucille Grant.
Mark was retired after working 30+years at the University of Maine in Orono as a custodian. He was a kind hearted soul who would have taken the shirt off his back for those he loved. He enjoyed traveling to Florida, visiting Southern Maine, visiting his hometown of Searsport, Maine, and anywhere where there was a beach or ocean.
Mark is survived by his mother, Lucille Grant of Searsport, his brothers, James Cogswell and his friend, Sophie of Vinalhaven, Maine, David Cogswell and his wife, Tammy of Texas, and his sister, Linda Vainio, and her husband, Eric of Monson, Maine, and a very special friend of 20 years, Al Heald of Bradley; aunts, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
He was predeceased by his father, James Cogswell, his brother, Michael Cogswell, his sister, Jane “Cogswell”, a nephew, Brian Cogswell, and a very special friend of many years, Wilfred Dymond.
Mark did not wish for any formal funeral services. A gathering of family and friends will be planned at a later date.
