Billy was raised by mother, Lena Mae and step-father Arley Rowe of Austin, Texas. Billy served in the United States Navy during the Korean war on the U.S.S. Marshall. Upon his return, he met and married his love, Bettyjo Middleton. They later made Houston, Texas , their home where they raised their five children.
Billy is survived by his wife Bettyjo, five children, Sandra, Margie, Clay, William and Sharon and seven grandchildren, Darren, Nicole, Caris, Kyle, Melanie, Benjamin and Kirston. His granddaughter, Khelijo, is already in God's care.
Billy was a spiritual man who never encountered a stranger and served as a Deacon in the past for the Church of Christ. He will be missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at American Heritage Funeral Home in Houston, Texas. Condolences may be offered at 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive.
