A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. Following the Graveside Service family and friends are welcome to Crossroads Church of Christ to fellowship. Earl Barnett and Kyle Gilpin will officiate.
Tim loved his wife of 46 years more than life, Vanessa Banks. He was a Master Electrician that could do anything he put his mind to. One of the hardest working men you would ever meet. He loved and adored his 4 girls and 13 grandkids. He loved his sons-in-law but he accused them of taking all his tools (which they didn’t) because he loved to joke with them. His favorite thing to do was poke people with his cane, to see what kind of reaction he could get. He had the biggest heart and showed his family the most love every day.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph O’Neal Banks, grandparents, Johnny and Matie Nichols; and Clyde and Della Banks; son in law, Jeff Taylor; in-laws, Orland and Era Dean Scruggs.
He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Scruggs Banks; mother, Betty Banks; children, Farrah Alexander(Chuck), Stacia Taylor, Kaylen DeFoor(Chad), and Lindsey Waldrop(Chris); grandchildren, Morgan, Luke, Joleigh Alexander; Karsyn, Keegan, and Kobe Taylor; Kohl Kannen, Peyton, August, and Mylo DeFoor; Graham O’Neal, and Gracely Mae Waldrop; sister, Lynne Banks Brown(TommyJoe); in-laws, Salieta and Tom Stone, and Kathy Wheeler Scruggs; nephews and nieces, Kristen Lee, Courtnee Hicks, and Natachu Wheeler-Scruggs.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Alexander, Luke Alexander, Mark Blair, Chris Waldrop, Chad DeFoor, Kannen DeFoor, Kohl DeFoor, Kobe Taylor, and Keegan Taylor.
