Mildred Doris Phillips went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2020. She was born on September 17, 1941 in Blodgett to John Raymond Wagoner and Inez Anna (Lee) Wagoner. She was born and raised in the Baptist faith and attended Blodgett Baptist Church most of her life, where she was the pianist for many years. She was also part of the Blodgett Trio, a singing group with two of her closest friends, Nancy Withrow and Carolyn Duff. In November 1962, she married Colin Phillips, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one infant brother, John Wagoner, Jr.
She worked many places including Kelly School District and Lambert's Cafe.
She is survived by one sister, Lila Lee Jackson, of Sikeston, as well as her daughter, Laura (Dwight) Krahn and one grand-daughter, Sarah, of Kennewick, WA.
She also leaves behind a nephew and many nieces, including one special niece, Diana Householder of Benton, who has taken care of her for many years.
