Leonard was a simple man. He was private and protective of his family. He enjoyed traveling and watching old western movies. Leonard was very passionate about the things he loved.
Leonard leaves behind his wife of ten years, Stephanie Morris Washington; parents, Booker T. (Bertha) Allison, and Shirley Washington Sidney; children, Roberta Edwards and Deveron Washington; stepchildren, Nakiya (Lamar) Gourdine and Tyree (LaTonya) Barbour; nine grandchildren; siblings, Geraldine Jones, Joyce (Nash) Carter, Janice Washington, and Burl (Trina) Washington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Washington, and stepfather Gene Sidney.
A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held on Saturday, October 24th at 11am at Sechrest Funeral Service with Reggie King officiating. A drive through repass will be held at Spirit and Truth Worship Center following the service.
