his loving wife, Cora, children, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, and nieces in Milpitas, CA. He
is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Catalina Abuan, and brothers Ramon and
Antonio, Jr.
Born in Agoo, La Union, Philippines on May 14, 1941, Boni immigrated to the United States and
established himself in Hawaii, where he loved the ocean and especially spear fishing. He later
settled in California. His love of horticulture can be seen around his home where he cultivated
and cared for his garden. Boni was an avid tennis player, enjoying the pastime with friends. He
was a big fan of boxing, football, and basketball. Watching the Warriors, Lakers, Raiders and
49ers gave him joy not only throughout his life, but was a great comfort in his last months. Friends
and family will tell you Boni was a devout Catholic and through his faith was someone who would
help you in a time of need.
Bonifacio is survived by his wife, Cora, five children; Felix, Tony (Angela), Armando (Linda),
Amelia (Matt Drennan), and Angela, and his five grandchildren; Damien, Dylan, Matilda, and
Madoc, and great grandson Zane. He is also survived by his siblings Nita (Francisco Ladines),
Rogelio (Luzviminda), Jose (Auring), and Elpidio (Nora) and several beloved nieces and
nephews.
