James E. Taylor, born in New Sarpy, LA and resident of Plaquemine, LA passed away at his home on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the age of 82. James was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping, Bass fishing, hunting, and NASCAR. He also loved spending time with his family and friends and was a member of Bayou Plaquemine Baptist Church. He retired from BASF after many years as a shift supervisor. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Anna B. Taylor; daughters, Connie Estes (Jan), Lisa Taylor, Sharon Connor (Brian); grandchildren, Brandon Suggs, Rayanna Messenger, Elizabeth Austin, Dylan Austin; great grandchildren, Alyia Broussard and Kylie Suggs; sister, Judy Taylor Gauthreaux (Lionel); his beloved dog, Ella. James is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Fayette Taylor.
