He was born August 20, 1943 in El Paso, Texas to Manuel Benavidez and Evangelina Berru.
Tony was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a successful career as a Vons Truck Driver and volunteered at McLaren Hall Children Facility. He enjoyed long bike rides and spending time with his dogs, Lassie and Blue. He enjoyed watching boxing, football, UFC, Fox News, and spending Saturdays watching the USC Trojans. But more than anything, he loved spending time with his beloved family.
Tony was a man with a beautiful heart and his work ethic was second to none.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Roni; his daughters, Heidi, Caprice, Tina, and Liza; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
