Once a Marine, always a Marine. He always had that mantra. Serving in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967 and 2 years reserved; including 2 Tours in Vietnam. He served at VFW 10011 as a Post Commander, also wearing many Hats during his years with the VFW. Jim Geyer was well known by many. A member of the Vietnam Veterans Organization, the Disabled Veterans Organization and the American Legion of Lincoln, New Hampshire.
Proud, tough and always prepared.
A successful Printer at Union Paper Company for 28 years from which he retired happily. Always enjoying the outdoors, camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, taking long drives, trout fishing, canoeing the Great Swamps, Wood River and Lincoln Woods. Endlessly tinkering in the workshop, woodworking and fixing anything broken. Jim was consistently busy, but always made time for his Wife, Kids and Grand Kids. Cheering on the Patriots on any given Sunday or any one of the kids or grandkids shows, recitals or sporting events. He was there with full applause.
A wise, honest and loving man. He will be dearly missed but his legacy will live on.
