Aroldo was raised in Union City, NJ, Miami, FL and Houston, TX. He was the beloved brother of Zeida Reyes, Tammy Arencibia and Vidal Lazo, dear nephew of Arturo and Emilia Sanchez-Bella, and cousins. He had many loving and caring friends.
Aroldo was a 1987 graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, where he was a proud member of the Seal and Serpent Fraternity. After graduating, he resided in Boston, MA, working as a Software and Systems Quality Engineering Manager. In 2017, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer, he moved to Oakland Park, FL, to be closer to family.
Aroldo’s passion was the theatre, where he performed as an actor, singing, dancing tap, ballroom, and jazz. He was a talented professional musician, playing the clarinet and saxophone.
Aroldo loved to travel the world and enjoyed deep sea scuba diving, among many other adventurous experiences. He lived life to the fullest. His beautiful smile would always light up a room.
