William Mark Clark, 63, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2020 after a courageous battle with Leukemia that was diagnosed in 2019. Mark was born on July 10, 1957 to his parents William Harper and Regina Abicht Clark of Govans, MD. Mark attended St. Mary’s Govans and graduated high school from Loyola Blakefield in 1975. He continued his education at UMBC graduating with his bachelors in 1979. While attending Loyola and UMBC he enjoyed and participated competitively in Basketball and Tennis. Mark enjoyed fly fishing and fine wine. His journey took him to be a financial advisor with Alex Brown in 1982. He completed his career with UBS Financial Services at the Hunt Valley Office. Mark was a faithful member of the Eeshan Religion. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Elizabeth Corder Clark; beloved father of Julia Clark Isaza (Hamed Isaza), Catherine Clark, Peter Clark (Chloè Lukas), Margaret Clark, Grace Clark, Olivia Clark, Jane Clark, Mary Elena “Ellie” Clark; devoted son of William Clark and his wife Eileen Clark; dear brother of Jeanne Clark Lipon, Patricia Clark, Robert Clark, Michael Clark and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark wanted me to share with all our family and friends that his most meaningful “glory days” were experienced during his time working to help propagate the Eeshan Religion. His wish was for every person in the world to get a copy of the book. He was adamant about this as he had the doctors, nurses and social workers promise they would get it. When he couldn’t read he asked them to read to him. Tributes come and go-this I know-Mark believed was life-sustaining. The title of the book is “Are You Still Mine?” written by Eesha/Mary Ellen Lukas. She is the woman he says made a relationship with God not bound by church law but a spiritual choice placed by God within each person’s heart.
