Mr. Rollins was born on August 18, 1930 to Seth and Ladonna Rollins. He is survived by his wife Linda Rollins of Guthrie, OK; his step-son Bobby Garrett of Guthrie, OK; and his step-daughter Shannon Vierps and her husband Peter Vierps of Edmond, OK. He has four grandchildren, James and Joseph Garrett of Shawnee, OK, Allison Vierps of Baltimore, Maryland, and Danyelle Vierps of Stillwater, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts and uncles.
Jim was a United States Navy veteran, a carpenter, and an actor. He was Sheriff at Frontier City for 30 years, and enjoyed his time there. He was known as “Pappy” by all of his gunfighters, and he considered them his family.
Visitation for Jim will be from 4-8pm Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home in Del City. OK. Graveside services will be held at 10am Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
