Gaston “Gus” Luis Siverio, 93, of Santa Clara, Cuba passed away on October 16, 2020 at his Tampa home with his loving family by his side. He was born August 26, 1927 to his parents Humberto and Fredesvinda Siverio. At the age of 13 he moved to Havana, Cuba where he had his first son, Guiellermo. He came to America in the year 1945 where he made his home in Brooklyn, New York. It is there that he met his wife Lydia and they had three children together, Miriam, Alex & Eileen. He was a man of honor who worked very hard to take amazing care of his family.
He was very passionate about the work he did with St. Joseph’s Hospital until he retired at the age of 85. He was a good provider and an even better husband, father and friend. He was extremely headstrong and he has a vivacious personality that lit up the room. Everyone that had the pleasure to cross paths with Gus will tell you that his energy and spirit made a lasting impression on them.
Gaston is survived by his wife Lydia Siverio, his sister Yolanda Siverio, brother Eddy Siverio, four children, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
