She was born July 27, 1935, in Gattman, Mississippi, to Effie Mae Crank Stockton and Thomas Trenton Stockton.
Anne was a long-time resident of Mobile but moved to Jasper to be closer to her only daughter and her family. She retired after thirty-three years of service with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Anne is survived by her husband James David O’Neal, daughter Sabrina Jaye (John), granddaughters: Heather Jaye, and Holly Jaye Rivers (Erick), great-grandchildren: Jaye, Lyla, and John Rivers, sister Barbara Haney of Warner Robins, Georgia, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Reverend John Jaye and Reverend David Byrd conducted the Graveside Service that was held at Oakhill Cemetery on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 2:00 p.m.
Pall Bearers were Reverend John Jaye, Erick Rivers, Jaye Rivers, Doug Booth, Kevin Dobbs, Barry Easterwood, and Reverend Shawn Stinson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the honor of Anne given to a charity of one’s choice.
