He was born in Guam on December 1932 to Ana Sablan Apuron and Manuel Taijito Apuron. He is survived by his loving wife, Marieanne, his brothers Anthony and Paul, his sisters, Severina and Joan and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brothers Jose, Pedro and Vicente Apuron, his sisters Maria, Teresita, Angelina and his parents.
Ramon lived a good life. He was a devoted Catholic, raised in religion, and a devoted husband to his wife Marieanne. He joined the U. S. Air Force on March 1957 and after 24 years of service retired with a rank of Master Sergeant on March 1981. He was very loyal and very proud to be an Airman and to serve his country. He earned many medals among them the Bronze Star.
Although our hearts mourn, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is an angel in heaven with other family members watching over us.
Visitation: Funeraria Del Angel 2425 W. Lincoln Ave. Anaheim CA 92801 on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 6-8 PM to remember, grieve and support one another.
Funeral Mass: Saint Bonaventure Church 16400 Springdale St, Huntington Beach, CA 92649 on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 10 AM.
Interment: Military Funeral Honors immediately following the mass at Good Shepherd Cemetery 8301 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92646
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
