Martin Reines, age 50, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully after a long illness. Martin was born in Binghamton, New York, moved to Florida in the fifth grade, and graduated from Spruce Creek High School in 1988. He moved to Orlando to pursue his career in hotel management, where he met his wife Aitza who he was married to for twenty years. They raised three children together in Charleston, SC. He recently had a career in Insurance. Martin liked to play tennis, golf, enjoyed listening to music, grilling and sunrises on the beach. Martin had an amazing core group of friends for over 40 years Michael Higgins, Bob Coe, Eddie Chorjel and Melissa Gabriel. But, above all else he loved being a father.
A loving father, son, and brother, Martin will be missed by many. He is survived by his parents, Howard and Gail Reines; sister, Kim Reines; and children, Isabelle Reines, Martin Reines, and Amanda Reines. There will be a small informal service at a later date TBD.
