Irma Jucknath, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died in San Diego, California on November 3, 2020 at the age of 84. Born in St. George, Utah and raised in southern California, Irma lived in El Centro, California for more than 30 years. Irma held a Master's Degree and taught at Imperial High School for 13 years. She also spent time teaching in Brawley, Calexico and San Jose, California. She married Roy Jucknath in 1956 and together they had daughters Lauryl, Karen, Sheri and Susan. The family enjoyed yearly road trips to such places as Alaska, Canada and Wyoming, escaping the summer heat and creating wonderful memories. After retiring, Irma and Roy moved to San Diego. They enjoyed their retirement years in Rancho Penasquitos and Oceanside. They were avid square dancers and were members of Tips and Rounders in El Centro and Village Square Dancing club in Ocean Hills Country Club. They attended many square dancing events and were past presidents of the square dancing club at Ocean Hills. Irma is survived by her daughters Lauryl Hiscox, Karen Simpson, Sheri Coalson and Susan Caldwell, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
