Perry Burl Emberton Sr.

Big Perry or Bubba, as he was known to his siblings, left this earthly world Monday November 2, 2020 in Houston, Texas. Just eight days shy of his 82nd Birthday. A life long Texan, born November 10, 1938 in Houston to Walter Lee and Olamae Emberton.

After his retirement from 29 years of Service to Yellow Freight W. of Houston, he lived for several years in Trinity and San Jacinto Counties near his sisters Patsielee and Jaqueline and his brother Ronald Emberton.

Perry joined the United States Airforce and received an honorable discharge. He then went on to follow in his fathers footsteps and became a truck driver, as did both of his sons.

Perry loved fishing, working on cars, building things, stopping off at neighborhood joint to visit with friends; later in life he loved to play his old records and watch old Clint Eastwood movies. Perry especially loved staying in touch with family and friends by phone. He loved to talk, he loved to tell his old stories and even though we all have heard them before, we loved hearing them again.

Perry had done many things in his life, but his greatest accomplishment was his family. He married Elma Louis Smith and he created a family consisting of Timothy Glen Emberton, Perry B. Emberton Jr. and Rebecca Lynn. So today as we celebrate this life our hearts are sad but our souls rejoice for he is no longer here to suffer on this earth.

Born in Houston Texas, he is proceeded in death by his father and mother Walter Lee and Olamae Proctor Emberton Rebecca Lynn Watts, wife Elma Louis Smith, 2006 and Wanda Clark,1991. Those Left to celebrate his life his 2 sons Timothy Glenn Emberton and Perry B. Emberton Jr.(Lori). His grandchildren Timothy Shane Emberton, Tiffany Lynn Emberton Kitzmiller, Timothy Glenn Emberton Jr. Cody James Watts, and Matthew Ryan Watts, 2 sisters, Patsielee Emberton Algea, Jaqueline Embteron and 1 Brother Ronald Emberton. His son in law Johnny Watts, 4 great-grand Children and a host of family and friends.
