Sadona Spears Chance of Hendersonville, TN was born October 20, 1953 in Hohenwald, TN. She passed away on November 9, 2020 to Covid 19. Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, November 12th from 5pm-8pm and Friday, November 13th from 10am-12pm. Celebration of life service to follow at 12pm.
Sadona retired from Metro Police as a 911 dispatcher. She lived a full life in the 67 short years she lived here on earth. Sadona was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nonna. In her 2 short years of retirement, she was able to attend her grandkids' many endeavors. You name it, volleyball, baseball, soccer, flying in a plane or having cousin night where all the grandkids would sleepover. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went.
Sadona was greater than life. She filled a room with laughter and was the life of the party. She enjoyed traveling with her family and lifelong best friend, Phyllis. There were many adventures, and apparently quite a few that we will never know about and she was planning more. She also loved watching tv, "Ghost Adventures" and to talk about how to survive the zombie apocalypse. She will truly be missed because there is just no one else like her.
Sadona is preceded in death by her husband Pete Chance, parents Richard and Colleen Spears, brother Jace Spears, and grandson Drew Biggerstaff. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Deshay (Tommy) Biggerstaff, Brandee (Darrell) Lyle and Alexa(Josh) Gaby; grandchildren Kristen, Steven, Ryan, Ethan, Amelia, Chance and Brooks; best friend Phyllis Crim and sister Vanessa (Greg) Hook. The family wants to thank the staff at Hendersonville and Centennial Medical Center for taking such good care of her and to all of our friends and families for the prayers and support.
