Living her life as she wanted, “Faith, Family, Loved, Laughter, and Celebrated living Life.”
She was born June 28, 1935 in Omaha, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Januarious John Bendon and Mary Anne Maguire Bendon.
On June 9, 1954, she married Gerald V. Hadley who passed away October 4, 2003. They were married for 49 years and 4 months and resided in the California High Desert, Montana, Tennessee, and Nevada.
Ayeleen was in nursing for 50 years. She worked in Montana and Tennessee as a licensed practical nurse.
She was a member of the Catholic Church. She loved to crochet, sewing, cooking and crafting. She did enjoy putting a penny in the slot machine, and would win.
Ayelene loved and enjoyed her family and friends. She was generous to all her friends and family. She always said, “My children are good to me.” She loved to travel and visit her family.
Surviving are three sons, Steven Gerald Hadley and wife Lori of Myrtle Creek, OR, Wayne Anthony Hadley and wife Paula of Silver Springs, NV, William Frances Hadley and wife Kim of Yerington, NV; two daughters, Kathleen Marie Tharp and husband Robert of Washington, and Shaunna Ayelene Reha and husband Michael of Clarksville,Tenn; grandchildren, Michael Hadley, Shalayn Lynette Allen and husband Jole, Danielle Kathleen Asbury, Shannyn Lorelei Cupp and husband Dustin, Christopher Lee Groleau, Shryse Lenae Williams and husband Dane, Lisa Ayelene Rhea, Randy Cyle Rhea and wife Dawn, Sean Vernon Rhea and wife Elizabeth, Jamie Chaplin, David Sitar and wife Sara, Jason Torres and wife Emily, Paul Torres and wife Amber, Dana Hadley; great grandchildren, Tamara Ashley Cloud, Brittney Marie, Hope Ashley, and Jerome Dixion Asbury, Mackenzie Paige Groleau, Grace Emily, Claire Elizabeth, and Bridget Emma Cupp, Lily Finn Allen, Aden Elliot and Alex Ezra Williams, Alec and Lorelei Hadley, Oliver Joseph Mungenast, Remington James and Hadley Cole Rhea, Kaelyn Jade, Levi Owen, Scarlett Johanna, and Isabella Ayelene Rhea, Sydney Sitar, Michelle Chapman and husband Rick, and Kylie, Bella, and Brynn Torres; great-great-grandchildren, Emma and Cooper Chapman, Brooklyn Marie Burgess; and nieces and nephews, Lanette, Tina, and Sylvia Harper, and Jolene Hays, Steven and Jason Bendon, and all their children.
Also surviving are four brothers, Bernard Cornelius Bendon, William Michael Bendon, Joseph Bendon and wife Sandy, and Terrance Anthony Bendon and wife Marlene; and one sister, Josephine Bendon Roberts Mercer.
Deceased are a son Michael Hadley; three brothers, Jerome John Bendon, Donald Joseph Bendon, and Phillip Ignatius Bendon; one sister Mary Katherine Bendon Harper; sister-in-law, Cheryl Bendon; brother-in-law, Everett Mercer; and nephews Bryan Ray and Virgil Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2020 in St Anne’s Catholic Church in Dayton Nevada followed by graveside services in Dayton Cemetery.
