Your Mom was such a sweet, giving soul and sorry for your loss.  You may celebrate the years of great memories  you shared, especially knowing she’s in God’s glory now!  I so love all of you; what a great family I’ll always cherish!


Bill and I are so sorry for your loss. Peggy and Malvin welcomed us as neighbors thirty-six years ago. Peggy often talked about her family, and I know she will be missed by so many.

I’m so very sorry for your family’s loss of your Mom.  Such great memories of your folks are known by so many of us and shared with you at this time.  God bless you all and know you are loved.

To Ken and all the Slaton boys, my cousins. I did not know Peggy well, but I enjoyed talking with her when we had the Slaton reunions. She was a sweet, dear lady.

Your parents were so special to my mother & I over the years after daddy (Uncle Pat Shaw) passed in October 1957.  I was nine.

We moved back & forth between Van Zandt & Kaufman counties.  Did not matter where we lived & usually on a Sunday afternoon there would be a knock on our door. There would be Peggy Faye & Malvin & you guys. A real family reunion.

They made it count all their life. They have completed the journey now.  If we will be good boys & girls we can have a family reunion by & by.
