June was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota and moved to Glencoe, Minnesota when she was twelve. She was a star student and went on to teach in a country school and later in elementary schools. She met Bud when he came to play baseball for the farm team managed by her dad. They were married in June of 1950. A year later, Bud and his dad started the Kuether Distributing Company in Minneapolis which operated over 50 years. They raised their family in Richfield and later moved to Fridley. June loved dogs, teaching, traveling, reading and spending time at her condo in Florida. She followed the Twins baseball, season after season. She was a faithful church member at United Church of Christ in New Brighton. Her Scottish ancestry was a source of pride along with the characteristic of having red-hair and the gift of story-telling.
Special thanks to the staff at Landmark of Fridley. A private family ceremony will be held to honor her.
