A graceful gentleman of song. Argentinian folklore was enriched each

time you sang those soulful verses with that voice always sonorous,

penetrating & tearful that emanated & flowed freely as if it wished to

escape through the verdant fields in the region of the best wines of

Mendoza.

Always entertaining & amusing, nobody told a story like you did. With

the wit & spark of

a poet-singer from whom the words & tones emanated with the

spontaneity of a river running wild without a course.

A great friend to all, you had the grace of nobility with no

artificiality. A righteous man, sincere, truthful, just & loving.

Always searching for the funny side of things & the lighter shade of life.

Your mission in life was to bring joy & make sure everyone had a good

time. Your stories

& your songs were the instruments you used, masterfully, to reach your goal.

Your legacy is that joy you leave with all of us. And we all admired

the passion with which you embraced each musical theme.

These intangible notes will remain suspended in space & in our memory.

We just evoke them & they come to life in open & sweet tones.

You loved & were loved. You leave us, filled with love & applause.

Dear Mario, you surrendered to us your own being & your own tones & we

are all the richer for receiving these gifts.

You remain with all who had the pleasure of knowing you, listening to

you & loving you.
