Roswitha Susanna Busse (Rosi), 81, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020. Rosi was preceded in death by David George Busse, a retired Captain in the US Air Force and her husband of 60 years.
Rosi was born in Trier, Germany, and had many fond memories of her childhood and teenage years there. She was able to return again in 2019, and was fortunate to be able to visit with many family members while she was there. She loved crocheting and knitting, reading very thick books on history and mysteries, walking daily, and visiting with her children and grandchildren. She moved to Tallahassee in 2018 from Orange Park, Florida where she lived 40 years, having lived previously in many places throughout the United States and Germany.
Rosi is survived by her brother, Norbert Bicko; sister, Margaret Tracy; numerous nieces and nephews; her daughters, Yvonne Salfinger (Max) and Michelle Huff (Michael); her son, Kenneth Busse (Lynn); her five grandchildren, Christina Busse, Eric Busse, Sarah Nupen, Stephanie Huff, and Emily Huff; and one great grandson, Cecil, all of whom will miss her dearly.
A small family service will be held at a later time at the Jacksonville National Cemetery where her husband David is also interred.
