A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Frank was born to Joanne E. and Frank A. Rose on February 28, 1964 at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois. As an Air Force brat, he lived and travelled all the world, eventually settling in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1982, and then from Hardin Simmons University in 1986. He also attended Mary Washington University where he received his teaching certificate. After he obtained that, he worked for the Windham School District for twenty-seven years.
An avid sports fan, he loved watching his great-nieces play ball and watching every game the Abilene High School Eagles played, besides knowing almost everything about any sport.
Frank was a huge part of his family and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He had so much knowledge about so many things, and had a sense of humor that was unmatched. He will live on forever in the hearts of his loved ones, and by those he touched at Windham School District.
Frank lived by the adage by Muhammad Ali that said, “He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.”
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and his nephew Diamon Gonzalez.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Jodi Rose; daughter, Sheridan Brown; grandson, Ayden Sanchez; nephew, Domingo Gonzalez, Jr.; nieces, Dakota Rose Gonzalez, Desarai Rose Hay and husband Eric; great-nieces, Elisia Rose Rueda, Baelynn Rose Hay, Elizabeth-Ann Rose Gonzalez and Juanita Rose Gonzalez.
