Junior was truly a special person with a gentle soul. He will be missed by many who loved and appreciated him. He is survived by his Mother Juanita Veloz, Sister, Martha Barajas. Brothers, David Veloz, Gilbert Veloz and Henry Veloz. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
Throughout his life, Junior was an eternal optimist. His greatest gift was that he saw the world through the eyes of a child. He found joy in the simplest things. By the same respect, he had the wisdom and clarity of someone beyond his capacity. We can smile and see past the hurt we are feeling when we think about the things he would say. “We All Have To Die” and “God Is Love” were two of his favorites.
Junior worked for many years with Exceed Resources. His job there gave him so much pride and something to look forward to each day. Thank you to the many good people at Exceed Resources who looked out for him and created an environment he enjoyed.
Alex loved the Catholic Church. He prayed every day to the Saints and to the Virgin Mary. His second greatest joy was music. He loved the Beatles and Elvis Pressley. He could spend an entire Saturday just listening to his music. He loved to dance whenever he had the chance. And on occasion, he loved to play the slot machines in Las Vegas.
We’re missing you very much Junior, but look forward to seeing you again soon.
