Margaret Jean Crager, age 81, of Keithville, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Margaret was born July 26, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Margaret was a loving wife, who was married to Milton Crager for 60 years. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother that loved with all her heart, soul, and mind. She loved sitting on the front porch talking with family and enjoying her birds. Her home was opened to anyone that needed "Granny's" love. She will be known as Granny to everyone and dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Milton Crager; brother Tommy Grimes; mother Helen Grimes, and father Clyde Grimes.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Beverly Permenter (Huie) of Logansport, LA.; sons James “Jim” Crager (Brenda) of Logansport, LA., Bradley Crager (Pamela) of Keithville, LA., brother George Grimes (Betty) of Hot Springs, AR. Margaret is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
A graveside for Margaret will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park. Officiating the service will be Chris Willcutt pastor of Grawood Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Kinkade Room at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home on the day of the service. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Ron Permenter, Jessie Wilson, Bill Britt, Tad Crager, Cody Crager, and Simon Rios. Honorary Pallbearer is Adam Crager.
